"4th Gen Kuching Kolo mee!! Hands-down the most authentic kolo mee in Kuching Al dente noodles, yummy charsiew, simple but so flavorful. Ask them about their great-grandpa noodle stall... it used to be a tiny mobile stall in front of the temple, generations ago!"

"Nice kolomee noodle place with special choices of meat to go with. Instead of the usual kolomee you can choose the other options. My favourite is still the fried chicken fillet as they seasoned it well. The noodles are springy and seasoned generously in garlic oil. Drinks are not bad too. Used to be very busy but has less crowd recently."

"Ta Wan Kung serves my all-time favourite kolo mee. The noodles are perfectly springy and generously topped with crispy fried shallots and fragrant shallot oil, which elevate the dish to the next level. Every bite is full of flavor and aroma—simple, satisfying, and absolutely addictive. If you’re a fan of kolo mee, this place is a must-try!"

"Everytime if I manage to wake up in time, this is the kolo mee I drive to eat! They are usually sold out by 11.45pm so sometimes I won’t sleep so that I can eat their noodles! My signature order is the Pork Chop Noodles! The sweetness of the pork chop adds that kick to the kolo mee! And the wantan soup with a lot of shallots and fried garlic always makes my stomach so satisfied. I dream of this noodle sometimes in my dreams also! Must try! The oily ness of the noodles is my type of kick! Wow shiok ah!"

"It's one of the best kolo mee in Kuching for me. A legendary shop among the locals. The shop usually packs during weekends, so expect some queue. The noodle (kolo mee) is handmade. Therefore, the texture of the kolo mee was to my liking; not soggy and good texture. My favourite is kolo mee biasa, with char siew meat on top. The pork oil mixed with garlic oil is special. Generous amounts are given. If you enjoy lard, you'll love this serving. Wantan soup is a must for us. The soup tastes just nice, with lots of fried shallots. And the coffee here is amazing. It really makes my day."

"Their main menu surrounds noodles, the famous one is their cha jiang noodles and tofu soup (runs out really fast !). I grew up eating here quite a lot, however it seems over time the food quality has deteriorated slightly…. The crowd is subject to weekdays or weekends, sometimes a queue can be anticipated or on lucky days you’ll get empty tables at arrival. It has its own unique taste among the noodles in this city, so still worth a try if you’re visiting Kuching."

"Make sure you can wait, quite slow to serve. But the tofu is a must order!"

"I personally favor the (炸鸡面) Fried chicken noodle in place of the (猪排面) pork chop noodle. The noodle is very spongy and not soggy seasoned with the right amount of oil and seasonings. The pork chop noodle is sweet which is not of my liking, but to each its own. The drinks here is richly flavored too and not thinly made which is a bonus in addition to the delicious noodle."
